The Religious Aspect

A religious system is not for an individual, it is for a society. When there is only a single individual, it doesn't matter what faith he follows. But when more than one or many individuals come together to form a society, they behave or are made to behave in a coherent manner and do whatever is possible to establish a system or order for their coexistence as a society. The social order thus established is Religion. The practices adopted to maintain the order as per time and circumstances are rituals. Religion is meant for the betterment of the society. The religious spirit is opposed to hatred. It is natural for an individual to adopt the religious faith in which he was born and thus various religions keep on growing. People may observe different rituals according to their own religious faith but why should they hate and suspect others and not mix with each other in brotherly affection?

A religion without love for all human beings breeds ill-will in society. We find different religions coming in conflict with each other and instead of providing solace to the human society they have proved to be a curse, as is witnessed in frequent religious riots. There may be differences in understanding but as all human beings are children of the same Mother, the basic tenets and aim of all religions remain the same and that is humanity. A religion that creates rifts by attacking the very base of universal brotherhood is something else.
In order to inspire the people to live harmoniously, the Samooh provides an ideal platform for people of all religions of the world to sit together for the cause of humanity. It is quite clear to the people of various religious backgrounds who have visited the Samooh that there is no harm in sitting together in discussions that also helps to clear out the misunderstandings. The doors of the Samooh are open for all human beings without any distinctions. All have equal status and respect in the Samooh. In this way the Samooh has made an impact on various social institutions and religious bodies. The Samooh has emerged as a powerful example in the horizon of world humanity with the potential to bring a change in the mode of thinking and has thus set an ideal for others to follow.

We do not force anybody to follow any particular mode of religious worship. We believe in the worship of the Eternal Power Aadya-Shakti Sarveshwari with utmost love, devotion and dedication and thus we don't have any particular rituals of our own. Everyone is free to follow the religion of his own choice. However, while living with others, one should show brotherly love and equality and most importantly recognise that humanity is the foremost religion of all human beings

"Be a Human! What is the true 'Religion' of Sri Sarveshwari Samooh? Anyone can become a Kshatriya, Brahmin, Vaishya, Shudra, Hindu, Muslim, Christian or Parsi. Who is ready to become a Human?
